Professional tennis hits the spotlight at the Latrobe City Traralgon Tennis International with the prestigious event returning to the Traralgon Tennis Association.
Placed in the region by SMA, the tennis international will take place from 18th February – 3rd March. The two Australian Pro Tour events will offer a total prize pool of more than AUD $130,000 and valuable world ranking points. Tennis Australia and Tennis Victoria will host the tournament in conjunction with the Traralgon Tennis Association and with the invaluable support from the Latrobe City Council and Destination Gippsland.
Tennis Australia’s Pro Tour Manager, Fiona Luscombe, thanked SMA and the region for their commitment while the Mayor of Latrobe City Council, Councillor Darren Howe, said council was excited to again host the Latrobe City Traralgon Tennis International. 
Destination Gippsland CEO, Terry Robinson, echoed the sentiments saying it was exciting to see the event return to Traralgon with back-to-back tournaments supporting a healthy economic impact into local communities with an opportunity to showcase the region as a great destination to visit.
