With the support of the NSW Government through Destination NSW and Penrith City Council, the inaugural Redline Games took place recently at the idyllic Sydney International Regatta Centre.

SMA assisted in securing this event for Penrith through its Events Placement Program while the SMA Grant Writing Team helped Elite Energy to secure much needed Destination NSW funding to get the event off the ground.

This multisport event attracted thousands of people to the Sydney International Regatta Centre in Penrith over 2 days on 1^st and 2^nd April. The Games hosted a range of urban, water and land-based sports including triathlons, cross fit, fun runs, open water swims, road cycling, speed skating, break dancing and bicycle trials.

Run by Huskisson Triathlon Festival organisers, Elite Energy Events, the Redline Games attracted a mixed field of participants and spectators from across Sydney and interstate, testing elite athletes and welcoming first timers across a range of traditional and urban sports. With over $20,000 in cash and prizes across the weekend, there were some fast times and fierce racing.
