SMA Partners with Visit Northern Tasmania to Showcase the Region for Events

SMA is thrilled to announce a partnership with Visit Northern Tasmania, aimed at positioning the region as a premier destination for event owners across Australia and internationally.

Ahead of Easter, SMA Managing Director, Craig Gibson, spent a week in Northern Tasmania conducting site visits and stakeholder discussions to produce a comprehensive Capacity & Capability Assessment and regional Events Prospectus. These key documents will promote the region’s strengths, infrastructure and readiness to host standout events.

Northern Tasmania combines stunning landscapes, vibrant coastal communities, premium venues and a thriving events culture. Anchored by Launceston — a UNESCO City of Gastronomy — the region offers world-class food, wine, festivals, markets and sporting events, making it a highly competitive destination for national and international events.
