Australia’s toughest endurance event is coming to East Gippsland, transforming the region into a global sports and adventure tourism hotspot for three action-packed days.

In late 2026, Spartan Race Oceania will deliver its iconic Ultra Trifecta Weekend, staged from Esplanade Reserve in Lakes Entrance, with world-class racing across coastal, bushland and challenging trail terrain.

The event will attract thousands of athletes, supporters, and officials to the East Gippsland region, while also enhancing the regions reputation as a destination for adventure.

Delivered with the support of East Gippsland Shire Council and Destination Gippsland, the event will drive visitation, boost tourism spend and deliver real economic impact for local businesses.
